Springtime is Coming...

So for all of you going back to school for the spring semester I thought that would write a post about your spring wardrobe...

Many stores are already releasing the first part of their spring collections and I know that I'm already really excited.

This is the drapey stripe pullover hoodie from J.Crew, it's $65.00 and it's one my more favorite items for spring. Stripes are going to be popular for spring, I'm seeing more and more stores with hoodies or shirts with this kind of stripe.

This is the layered floral cami from American Eagle, it's $34.50 and you can't go wrong with a cute floral camisole. I like this one in particular because it's simple and it will go with just about anything you have in your closet. It would be extremely cute paired with a navy blue cardigan, a light wash pair of jeans and red flats.

I especially love dresses during spring. Here are a few dresses at very affordable prices. There are so many different silhouettes and patterns that everyone should be able to find at least one dress to wear this spring.

The last item of clothing that I want to talk about for your spring wardrobe are cropped jeans. Now I know that some of you may think that cropped jeans are tacky and out of style, if worn right they can actually look really cute and I'll tell you why... 

Over the summer I was working a retail job and as some of you may know you are not allowed to shorts. So one day I was looking for some new jeans to buy and I found a pair that were pretty cheap, I went to try them on and as it turns out they were too short (because I am 5'11'' and pants never fit unless I buy them in a tall size) so I decided to cuff the bottom of the pants so they looked really cute with some gladiator sandals, a camisole and a cardigan. 

So now that I've bored you with my story about cropped jeans. here are some options you may want to try.

We all know that knowing the time is an important part of our everyday lives.  Between school, work, errands, and all kinds of appointments we all at some point during the day need to know what time it is.

I know that I personally rely on my cell phone for everything, including the time...but starting off a new year a I am going to make it a point to wear a watch rather than using my phone. Many people don't realize that by not wearing a watch they are losing a great opportunity to add another accessory to their outfit.

Watches are a fantastic way to spruce up and outfit that may be missing something. I love watches and I believe that we should all be wearing one everyday so that we are just a little less dependent on the technology that is our cell phones. One more thing about watches....it looks good on everyone! No one should be able to say that they can't find a watch that looks good on them.
